Title:UDAgent Patch program.

Dear Sirs,

One member of our team (Team 2ch, participate from Japan) hacked a THINK module,
ud_730473.exe, and made a patch program which can utilize SSEs except P4,
for example, P3, Tualatin Celeron, Athlon Thunderbird, XP, and more.
Result of benchmark with calculation through 0% to 10% using work unit ud_735625 is as follows.

P4 1.54GHz with a patch program (NOT uses SSE, SSE2):212s
P4 1.54GHz at normal mode (uses SSE, SSE2):199s
Athlon XP 1800+ (@1.53GHz) at normal mode (NOT uses SSE):177s
Athlon XP 1800+ (@1.53GHz) with a patch program (uses SSE):158s

As shown above, on Athlon XP processor,
SSE option accelerates the analysis about 12% faster than normal mode.
He compared results of same work unit calculated on P4 system at normal mode(uses SSE/SSE2 ON),
with that on Athlon XP system with this patch(uses SSE), and there are no difference between them.
But, unfortunately, another member compared results calculated on P3 system with this patch,
with the result of normal calculation, results are different each other.

We think that SSE support on all CPU which have this feature clearly accelerate this project,
and we wish that UD stuff support this option officially.


This patch program has been opened to the public.
It is a open stop now.
I apologize for having become such an occurrence.
